Four more days!!!! I've been so busy, I haven't done any planning beyond buying plane tickets, park tickets and making ressies for POR.

We'll be flying into Orlando at 8 p.m. on Thursday - I was thinking it would be fun to go straight to a resort restaurant for dessert to celebrate being there. Is there anyplace outside MK we can see some of the 10 p.m. fireworks? Or is that just a pipe dream?

From Poly Resort Beach and enjoyed them. :sunny: :teeth: :wizard:

i agree the poly is the best you can just sit on the beach on relax and just watch the fireworks ( only probelm is no music they really ought to find a way to have music where fireworks are accesible)

You can also see them from the 4th floor viewing deck at the Contemporary, so you could do Chef Mickey's then watch fireworks. Also, you can see them from the Marina at the Grand Floridian if you wanted to eat there. With the MYW dining, you might be limited as to what dining arrangements you can make this close tho. I'd call today & try for Ohana or Kona at the Polynesian, Chef Mickeys or Concourse at Contemporary, 1900 Park Fare or GF Cafe at Grand Floridian (unless you want one of their fancy restaurants)

Oh - one more option is eating at Trail's End in Fort Wilderness, then watching the fireworks from their beach.
