we will be eating breakfast at the cape may cafe in the beach resort. we are staying at the Wilderness lodge and will take the boat to the monorail then to epcot...i hear beach club is in walking distance from the epcot. i hope it is!! :D

Yes- you can absolutely walk from Epcot to Cape May at the BC through the International Gateway entrance/exit at Epcot (located between the UK and France pavilions). From the Epcot exit it's about a five minute stroll.

Yes we did it last year. However we walked right past it....lol.
Just remember if you get to the yacht club you've gone too far.

When you are in Epcot and getting ready to enter the World Showcase, be sure to go towards Canada, not Mexico.

Once you go thru the International Gateway, you can take the boat to the BC or walk. Some folks say the boat is too slow, but we like it.:D

Yes, we did it alot when we stayed at the YC..it's a very nice walk, IMO. Be sure to check out the Boardwalk while you are there...

Another way you can go is to take the bus from WL to MGM. When you get there walk past the entrance, down to the boat dock and take the boat directly to the BC. It is the second stop after the Swan and Dolphin. When you get off the boat, go to the end of the pier and turn right. The BC is on the right, the YC on your left. This will save you from having to walk all the way through EPCOT to get to the International Gateway which is a bit of a hike from the monorail.

thanks everyone for ypur reply! i thought that we could walk to the beach resort from the enterance at epcot! i didn't know we had to walk through it. we don't have park tickets b/c this trip is a weekend hang out at WL and relax trip. JIMINY14 thanks for the suggestion of taking the bus to MGM and then the boat. is the boat ride slow and long? so i have an idea how early we should leave to make our 10 am ps ??? thank you! disneymouse:D

if you want to, you can also walk from MGM to BC! We do it all the time.

It is a nice 20 minute walk from where the buses will drop you off, and you can work up an appetite for your delicious experience! It is a super yummy meal!

We love Cape May!:jumping1:

We have stayed at WL many times and the bus to MGM and then the boat to BC is a good way to go. The boat ride from MGM to the International Gateway takes 25 to 30 minutes. The boat from MGM to YC/BC will take about 15 minutes and is a pleasant ride.

disneymouse,
If you do not want to use a park admission, then the MGM route is the way to go. If you take the monorail to EPCOT, you must walk through Future World and then part of World Showcase to get to the International Gateway. This is where you would exit for the BC.
The boat ride is slow but enjoyable. It will take about 15 minutes. You stop first at Swan and Dolphin and the the YC/BC.
As posted before, you can walk from MGM to the BC and it will take you about 20-25 minutes. The walkway is on the same side as the bus drop-off just past the info booth on your left. Keep in mind, however, that the majority of the walkway is not covered and if it is a hot day, the walk becomes very long. My vote goes to the air conditioned boat. That way you are not exhausted by the time you get to breakfast.
As far as for allowing time, I would say at least an hour. You have to take into account how long you will have to wait at WL for a bus to MGM. Then you have to hope that a boat is at MGM (they run about every 15-20 minutes). Anything less than an hour and you might not make it.
