Can we walk this?

If we park at a public lot in either Venice or Marina del Rey, is it a realistic walk from one town to the other? Thanks!

I'm not to sure about what lots you are reffering too. But going up Washington is not too bad when you are by the beach. And in general this area of LA is not the bad part of the town.

It's about a 4 mile walk, which isn't too bad along the beach if you have the energy to do it. Round trip it's a pretty long haul.
I've only driven through the area and if memory serves me there are areas around Venice Beach that don't feel real safe, so I'd stick close to the beach and touristy streets.

I would not walk it. You may have measured it to be 4 miles but I'm pretty sure it is a lot longer. If walking along the beach there isn't much to see along that route.

There are some definitely some unsafe areas around Venice Beach and Washington!
