Can we walk around the different resort?

We will be staying off of the disney property. We plan on having a "relax" day. We were hoping to go and check out some of the different hotels on disney property. We would like to see All Star Movie, The Swan/Dolphin, and some others to see which ones we would like to stay at in the future. Can anyone tell me if we could just park at disneys enterence and then get on the monorail and ride around to the different resorts???? Do we have to use a day off of our admission tickets????? How does this work??? Any info would be greatly appreciated!

Hi, you can easily move around the world using Disney's transportation. Since you're staying off site, you can park at any of the parks for a fee (I'd recommend MK) and take the bus or monorail transportation to any of the hotels. If you want to see the Swan and Dolphin hotels keep in mind you can take a bus over and also get a chance to walk around the Boardwalk and Yacht and Beach Clubs. Just don't take the monorail over to Epcot and walk from there or else you'll get stuck having to enter the park, walk all the way through, and out the International Gateway thereby wasting an admission. To get to the next resort, just take a bus back to any park or the TTC and hop a different resort bus.
