Can we use leftover days on tickets at Disneyland?

We will be visiting WDW for 8 days & then from there we go directly to Disneyland. If we purchase WDW MYW 8 day park hopper tickets with expiry it will cost us $261.99 per person. This would be all we need for WDW. However for another approx $6 we could get a 10 day ticket & use the extra 2 days for Disneyland (if this is allowed). Our visits will all fall in the 14 day timeframe so that is not a problem. Does anyone know if this would work? I will probably try it anyway (would only be out of pocket the $6 if it didn't!). Just curious if anyone knows for sure. Thanks.........

You used to be able to do this. But the tickets are so different now its hard to keep up! I would certainly think that if you were in the 14 day window you could. If I were you I would post this over on the Disneyland Board as well. There are alot of people over there who frequent both parks and might know.

Good suggestion by AMY&DAN on gtting a solid answer to your post. :goodvibes

Thanks for the replies. I will post over on the Disneyland board (sorry - I didn't even think of that!)

I had the old hopper plus passes (2000) and did use a leftover day when I visited DL in 2004.

WDW tickets are good at Disneyland (although I think you have to take them to guest services at DL and have them exchanged for DL ticket media). Disneyland tix are NOT accepted at WDW, however. It has something to do with WDW tix being more expensive -- even if used at DL, Disney has made a profit off of them.

I believe that snowy76 has it right...been looking into this same topic for our trip to DL in June...we have WDW APs. My understaning is that you CAN use WDW tickets at DL, but not WDW APs. So, if you have days left over on your WDW tickets, then you could use them at DL, provided they are still valid. You can't use the DL tickets at WDW, because like someone already mentioned...WDW tickets cost more than DL. I also remember reading something about having to exchange the WDW tickets for DL ones...so snowy76 is right on target. I do recall reading this somewhere...but I just can't remember the site. If I come across it I will post the link for you.

I think the best thing might be to call DL directly or to send them an email and ask...just tell them you have a WDW ticket that is still valid and you'd like to know if you can use it at DL like you've heard.
