Can we use a CS for a TS on the DDP?

I know that some of the sit down dinners we are going to will not have anything that my ds will eat, so some meals I am not going to use his TS credit. Can a child's TS credit be redeemed for any CS or snack credits? Thanks, Linda

During free dining the past two years they had a promotion where you could exchange a TS for CS or snacks and a gift (pin?) or something. But that is only during free dining when the TS places are super crowded. The rest of the year they can not be traded.

Are you sure they can't find something to eat on the menu? We just returned and our 2 1/2 year old, very picky, grand daughter had no problem eating off the kids menu. Most places are very accommodating, plus you can pay to upgrade a few items. She had pizza at several places and actually ate it (she doesn't like pizza). She had pasta, chicken, and grilled cheese. Since she was not on the DDP we paid OOP for her meals, especially since she actually ate them. Her appetizer seemed to be the chicken noodle soup alot. Good luck trying to convert your TS to CS for the kids, even if you find one QS location that will do it, the next one will have a completely different set of rules. Sounds like alot of work. When are you going? If it's during the free dining promotion, then yes, you can exchange a TS credit for a CS credit plus two snack credits to be redeemed at the same time (as each other, not necessarily at the same time as the CS credit), or a CS credit plus a lanyard and two predetermined pins.

If you're visiting at some other time, or even this month, remember, Disney's Chefs are VERY accommodating. Tell us where you're planning to dine, and what your son will eat, and we'll tell you if we think you'll be able to get him food at that location.
