Can we trust WDWPro/That Park Place?

Their videos are essentially clickbait. They are in the business of being negative on Disney either to play to people who disagree with Disney’s politics / current company stance on political issues or generating clicks from people who watch based on the titles.

I used to watch, thinking they had real insider info until I realized their channels are 100% negative on Disney. Even some so-called negative Disney journalists like Tom Corless have nice things to say at times.

If you look back at their older videos, they hated Chapek and then when Iger took over again suddenly they were pro-Chapek.

Certain Disney news channels have some insider information. Do they have some. Yes they do. WDWNT has some and so does Mickey Views. Are they right 100% of the time, nope. Are they right most of the time., yes. Heck even when Disney holds a big event saying what they plan on doing. They only do 50% of it. Spaceship Earth was supposed to refurbished back in 2020 and they were supposed to build a ride in the UK area. Disney didn’t do it.

WDWpro is the one who said he had insider info that Disney and the industry knew 100% that Frozen 2 was going to flop hard.

Ended up being more successful than the first one. Did he ever admit being wrong? Of course not. One of his many, many, many falsehoods. I don't trust anyone who can't admit when they were wrong.

Can we even trust WDWPro/That Park Place as a reliable source for Disney Parks rumors and news? That person keeps bringing up such rumors that Tokyo Disneyland's Splash Mountain will be removed by order of Disney, that Tiana's Bayou Adventure is allegedly underwhelming, that dislike of Disney is reaching dangerous levels, and he's brought up rumors of the potential changes at Disney's Animal Kingdom. He's even calling the planned Tropical Americas land "Esperanza".

Tianas is underwhelming and thus far an epic disaster. The dislike of Disney is reaching dangerous levels. My DIS stock agrees with that statement.

Are they right all of the time? No. Could they use a dose of positivity? Maybe a bit. But generally speaking, Disney has been going downhill for a while and the leadership in place hasn't shown any desire or ability to fix that.

And yet Inside Out 2 just became the first 2024 movie to hit 1 billion dollars worldwide. So maybe ease up on the hyperbole.

It's not hyperbole.

Congrats one one good movie. They also spent what? Over A billion dollars to completely transform epcot and wound up with a whopping 1 to 2 good things with Ratatouille (which was already old when they installed it) and Guardians.

Okay then. Enjoy being bitter about things. You're the target audience for that site it seems.

As you seem to be the target audience that supports higher prices and lower quality that we've been seeing for some time now. Keep in mind Disney does what they do because too many people just accept it.
Okay buddy. I'll keep that in mind. Thanks for the help.
