You all are too funny. We were dreamed at WDW the first week that it started. Wasn't a big thing unless you were one of my then four year olds. They got dinosaur masks and a free game at Animal Kingdom. We still have the masks, certificate, and dinosaur that they won. His name is Water Park...you have to know my boys.

I'm am positive I am going to win the stay in the castle in June. Then in January I am going to win a stay in the other castle! LOL A girl can dream.

That reminds me, we were at WDW last year with my sister and her family, so 8 of us. We swore if either of us won the stay in the castle that we would dump all the boys and just the girls go!

Where is the smoking area? We got ours right by Thunder yesterday too! But I'm not sure where the smoking area is...

It's the area that has benches and planters , just past the bridge.. closer to the petting zoo area.

I knew that exact feeling you see the "dreamers" with their special gifts and you think about how much easier things would be of you had those fastpasses. I have to say..I was dreamed yesterday(Wed)..we got the Fastpasses..and let me tell you..I felt like a little kid again..I was so excited. I was so excited I changed my signature(look below) Anyways..I just thought I would share. I hope you all become "dreamers"

HI there Kinda new to the boards but I have a theory here I wanted to share. As I've been reading it seems like a lot of the people who rarely go to Disneyland get dreamed over and over, where as AP holders almost never get dreamed. (I'm not saying AP holders don't get dreamed at all,.. I've just read alot of "I go ALLLLLLLLL the time and NEVER get dreamed!! posts)

Well I was wondering if perhaps it has to do with the way an AP'er would do the whole Disney Experience as apposed to someone who hardly goes. The newcomer would be more inclined to go with the crowds,.. hit fantasy land first (to warm up the kids), maybe take them on the Thunder train to see how they do on coasters before trying anything else, eat between 11:30-12:30, get dinner between 4-6pm etc...

From reading the forums here I get the impression AP'ers run in the door, grab fast pass at Indy, hit SM before line gets long, check line on buzz and nemo, grab next FP, Eat brunch so as to avoid lunch crowd... etc etc...

NOW,.. If I were Disney wanting to Dream PPL, Personally I'd hit the biggest crowds during the busiest times so that even if you didn't get dreamed, you could be excited about seeing others get dreamed...

I could be completely wrong here, as I'm not going to Disney for another 2 weeks and haven't been in years, So I've never even had the oppertunity to be Dreamed. But if your dieing to be Dreamed, it might be worth a try to follow the crowd a little and see if your luck changes.

I haven't ben dreamed either. We went 4 times last year and have been once (so far) this year. I have been lucky enough to see one!

We had just gotten off Space Mtn and DH was looking at the pics, I saw someone opening a little cubby in the wall opposite of where the pics are shown on the monitors. I was all excited - I was trying to tell DH with out looking like a crazy stalker person and he just didn't get it! I waited around a little bit and she just kept standing there, she was kind of in the shadows and I think I was the only person that saw her there, no one else really noticed her. I guess she was waiting for the "right" time. So I was close but just missed it. (Story of my life)

I have been close, but still no dream for me. Does anyone know if couples only have won the night in the Dream Suite? I haven't seen or heard of any, but that doesn't mean it hasn't happened. It is usually only DH and I when we go to DL, so I figured that lowers our chances.

no you have to be man and wife with 1 to 2.5 kids .....i wonder if i can adopt a pretty husband and 2 kids boy and girl...now that might work

i'll be there for 7 days and i am hunting them down!
i will skip around disney with my cutest most happy face with my fiancee and we will charm them into making my dreams come true!
(i just want a tikerbell pin )
my hubby to be dreams will come true there cuz itll be the food and wine thing..and hes a chef so hes really excited...
i just want my tink pin!

Well we did change our strategy last trip and we did get dreamed!! But not early in the morning, we had been pin trading in Frontierland and on the way out we ran into a CM with a lanyard so we asked to see her pins, we chatted with her a bit and she Dreamed us with Priority Seating at Billy Hill!!!!! We were front row center for the 5:15 show and we had so much fun! We love Billy Hill but usually sit up top so sitting front row was great for us!! And after the show my DD8 found a Hidden Mickey so she was really excited! We go monthly and on weekends and that was our 3rd Dream, the other 2 were the Tink pins. The girls got one each one trip and on our Big Kids only trip in January my BFF and I each got the Tink pin.
