Went out to Center Point Station to see what they had on sale. I didn't want to spend a lot so i decided that i would stick as close to $20 as I could. I found a Daisy daisy On the Go for 50% off!! Went a little over twenty, but, really, not bad. There were these ladies there, all asking about my cargo sling.
They thought I was buying it there and just wearing it. This one gal was looking for a diaper bag for her daughter/grandson. I suggested the cargo sling, showed her all the features on mine and she ended up buying one in MFB. I heard her up at the register telling the cashiier that they should hire me!! Less than a year of being a die hard Vera fan and I was actually able to help someone make a good purchase!! And i knew what I was talking about!! It was such a cool moment.
When I paid for mine, the cashier was telling me that it was like a feeding frenzy on friday when they first had the sale and that they hardly had anything left. Really?? It took me a long time going through the sale items, quite a few things left, i thought. One bad thing about the sales items, some of them had the look like they had been pawed over. Not real dirty or anything, but you could just tell they had been touched a lot.
I went over and looked at the new hipsters. Not impressed as much as i wanted to be. maybe on sale or something, but i'm happy with my old one. I love my new OTG. This was the first vera bag that I bought on sight. Usually I order online. I like the bag. I know it has a few limits as far as pocket space, but for the price and for daily use, i think it's perfect. i went out there thinking about a wallet. i didn't dare hope i could find an actual purse for what I paid. So, I'm thrilled!!
I also was able to get a tricky perscription filled, the library had a book i've been wanting and the dry cleaner's didn't botch my hubby's order for a change. i'm home and eating lunch and still have well over an hour before the kids start coming home!! Life is good. How are you all doing today???
