Can we swim at Caribe Royale if we book Buena Vista?

I've read that the BV pool is boring (and seen it also). The Caribe Royale (sister) is quite nice. Is it ok to swim at CR's pool if booked at BV?

Unfortunately no. Buena Vista Suites guests do not have pool privileges at Caribe Royale.

I too had this question (staying there jan 3-9th). I read on previous DIS posts that BVS guests were able to use the other resort's pool. And other posts have said no. Maybe it just depends on who is working that day? (I'm not really sure how the staff would find out anyway?)

And asked about BVS guests swimming in their pool.Here is their response.

Reply from Caribe Royale: Unfortunately, the use of the pool is for our guest only. Buena Vista Suites have their own nice pool.

Shucks. Well if my friends and I are feeling adventurous...we might give it a try though. I have a feeling that the pool won't be packed every day in the beginning of January...and what's the worst that could happen?

Yeah,I mean the chances that they constantly watch the pool to see if guests only swim there is very slim.Unless you need a guest card to get to their swimming pool.
I know when we stayed at the Royal Pacific we went over to the Hard Rock's pool and guests that were going thru the same time we did let us in....
All I can say is give it a try....
