Can we record the Magic tour?

We're planning on doing the magic tour when we go and I was wondering if we'd be allowed to videotape parts of it and take pics? Also, we'll probably have our 1 1/2 year old with us. It won't be scary for him will it?

What is the "magic tour"? Is it one of the behind the scenes tours of the magic kingdom? "Magic behind the Steam Train Tour?

We took the tour in 2001 and took lots of pictures and video taped as well. We have video of Prince Charming holding my dd's hand, as they walked to a ride.......priceless!

If you're talking about the Backstage Magic Tour (takes you behind the scenes at Epcot, MGM, MK, and Imagineering workshops); the answer is NO! They don't let you take pictures of any non-public areas. In otherwords, you can take pictures of the parade at MK at the end of the tour. But you can't take pictures anywhere "backstage".

But since you brought up your 1-1/2 year old, It can't be this tour because I think you have to be 16 or older.

I've wondered why there were no links to "Behind the Scenes at WDW"...

If you mean the Family Magic Tour at MK you can take photos (and video I would assume).

I have a GREAT photo of Peter Pan and my grandson hopping the fence in Liberty Square and ringing the Liberty Bell!!!
