Can we receive any mail at AKV?

My daughter's godparents would like to mail her a postcard while we are here. I thought I read someplace that they would give forward on the mail to us. Has anyone ever done this?

Her godmother e-mailed the resort and the e-mail she got back said:

Thank you for contacting the Walt Disney World Resort.

While we appreciate your interest in receiving mail at the Walt Disney World Resort, we do not offer mail delivery as a service for our guests.



If you have questions or need further assistance, feel free to contact us.

Please include your full name, E-Mail address, and reservation number if applicable on all correspondence.

I believe you can SEND mail, but not RECEIVE it.


By the way, I see you are an ex VMK'er as am I.

Bummer about the mail. I can see where it would be a logistical nightmare for the resort if everyone had mail coming in for the guests. I think maybe I was thinking about people mailing packages of things like water to the resort and getting confused with ordinary mail.

Yup! Ex-VMK'er here. I haven't been to the other side of Innoventions yet this trip but I wonder if they even have a record of once upon a time, a really great game called Virtual Magic Kingdom existed! Probably not.

I received a letter once while staying at OKW. The front desk simply called me, and I had to go pick it up.
