Can we put two reservations together?

I got a ressie for LeCellier for 12:15 back at the 180 day mark. For 4. Then our friends decided recently to meet us during our trip. They just got their flight info and will be arriving onsite around that time, and want to join us for that meal. In the meantime, I had secondguessed whether we should eat that early since we will also be arriving (driving) that day, so I got a 1:55 for 4 but the computer wouldn't let me cancel the 12:15. Hadn't gotten around to calling to cancel the 12:15 yet. There is NOTHING avail all week for 8 for LeCellier. Do you think we could show up @ 12:15 w/both ressies and ask to be seated together if we are willing to wait? This is for 11/5. My DS6 really wants to eat @ LeCellier - this is his b-day dinner (about a week after his actual b-day).

I would keep trying to get an ADR for 8, but note that it's not a big restaurant, so they might not have many tables for 8. Also, Le Cellier is very popular for lunch (because it's still a 1TS for that meal), so I doubt the 1:55 pm ADR would be honored at 12:15 pm.

No, they won't honor the 1:55 reservation over am hour and a half early. They may take your name for that res. As a walk-in, but you won't all be seated together. Your best bet would be to keep calling or try for a walk-in at eight.

I would keep calling as well and try to get them together as we had five and had to be seated apart but close so kept calling and never did get them all at same table as it is a small place. wait times there with no ressies is :rotfl2: it is popular place.. wish you well:thumbsup2

I would keep trying online to find another table for 4 as close to 1:55 (or 12:15) as possible. If the reservations are 5 or 10 min apart you have a much better chance of being seated together/close to each other. Since the reservation is for your friend, I would put it in their name and phone number or you could have them make their own res.

You could also try for a table for 8, but as others have said Le Cellier is a small restaurant and doesn't have many large tables which would explain why nothing is available all week.

Nov 5 is a Saturday during F&W so it will probably be pretty busy at Le Cellier. Also, with it being a 2 credit Sig at dinner, a lot of people prefer to book lunch. Last time we were there it was extremely busy and they were turning away all walk ups and anyone who was late.
