Can we pool-hop on checkout day?

Can we hop to a different pool (within the hopping rules and dates of course!) on our check-out day?

In December, I was going from VWL to AKV and DSis was going home. She and I took a cab to AKV and ME even arranged to pick her up there, so she didn't have to get back to VWL. She wanted to meet my DF who was joining me at AKV. So you even can have ME pick you up at the other resort!
