Can we participate?

Hi all! My DH and I are wondering if we can participate in Gay Day even though we are not gay? I am asking because we have a cousin we would like to attend and we want to go with him to show our support (which sadly he doesn't have a lot of). I know it's an odd question but he doesn't know the answer and I knew you guys would!

Depending on what events you all are participating in, walking around the parks, you will be comfortable, but if he gets real "in the spirit" and decides to attend some of the parties, etc. You guys might want to step back and let him spread his wings.

I've been invited to attend Gay Days next year with my very best friend. He is a gay male and I am a straight female. I'm honored that he has invited me. I hope to go with him and my teenage daughter. She wants to go to celebrate her high school graduation.

Attending the park on the first Saturday (MK) is something anyone can do. Support is shown by being there with your family. You can choose to wear "the color" or not, as you please. You can choose to have a t-shirt with a slogan/statement or not, as you please.

The one thing you will do is have the absolute most fun you've ever had at Disney. It's one of those things...you really do need to experience it to see it. Happiness, joy and unadulterated fun all over the place!

It's not an exclusionary event...exclusive maybe but not excluding...

YES!! It is actually one of the best times to be at WDW, especially MK on Saturday

and I wouldn't say we are actually "dragged" to gay days

This is what I got by just typing in "Gay Friendly". And I have to agree with others, it is one of the best days to be at the MK! The atmosphere is unbelievable! Cast members beg to work that day!

What kind of parties, etc. are there? My friend claims that these parties are for the "young and beautiful" people and he never attends them. He is an "average" 50 year old guy. He is shy and I would love to help him meet someone but don't want to get involved in a "gay frat party" environment where neither of us would be comfortable. Is there any party or event that anyone would recommend?
