Can we leave WDW on ME from a different resort?

Hi all!

I did some searching on this, but didn't come up with a definitive answer. We are leaving for WDW very soon (less than a month). We have done DME before, but last time, we had an 0 dark 30 am flight and were up at an ungodly hour to leave.

This time, we decided to be smart and leave later in the day. Our plan is to check the bags with RAC (we are flying a participating airline), check out of the hotel and go enjoy some last minute fun in the parks.

My question is, can we change the DME pick up location for us based on where we plan to be that day? We would do it in advance (obviously) and stick with the plan, but I didn't know if it was even possible. We are staying at BC, which gives us EC and DHS very close by, but I just know that our girls will probably want to hit MK one last time - and that is a haul to get there & back.

If it isn't possible - that is OK, I just through I would ask the experienced people before I made a dumb call to ME.

No you will need to take ME from your resort.

Thanks, Denise. Now we can be ready and get in everything at MK/AK the day BEFORE we leave and do EC/DHS the day of so we can get back easier.

Check your bags by 8am that last morning. Leave your carryon bags with Bell Services and then head to MK for a few last hours. Then, take the monorail over to Epcot (if you can spare the time and you have park hopper passes). Walk through Epcot and maybe get in a few attractions. Then, when you are about an hour away from your DME pickup time, head back to BC, via the International Gateway. Be sure you are all ready to go, bags in hand, at least 15 mins before your stated pickup time. That time is the time the bus is scheduled to pull away, not the time you need to show up.
