Can we leave our carry on baggage at concierge when we board until our room is ready?

You leave your things unattended? That's taking a big risk. Just because it's Disney doesnt mean there are no bad people around. We learned that the hard way when we used to keep all of our purses and bags in our stroller when our son was young and park it in the stroller area when we went on rides at DL. Did it for years without a problem, until one day, it was all gone! We had a false sense of security because we were at Disney. Now we know better.
Yes, but then you are leaving that stuff out of line of sight, for a long period of time. At the pools, we just put our stuff in a chair, that we can still see while in the water. Or just take turns being in the pool.

Yeah taking turns would be a better plan. It only takes a moment for somebody to grab something.

I'll be honest and say we do leave our bags unattended when we are eating lunch at Enchanted Garden. Everyone pretty much leaves their bags outside the dining room. Same thing always happened on the Magic/Wonder when we ate embarkation lunch at Parrot Cay/Carioca's. All the carryon bags are left outside the dining room while you eat lunch.

This also happens the last morning when people are eating in the dining room. Many just leave their bags outside the dining room while they eat.

Interesting. We've always been able to bring our carry on bags into Parrot Cay. Just stow them under the table.

And same for debarkation morning, brought our carry on with us.

We have never had to leave our bags outside of the dining rooms when we get on board. Whenever we walk onboard, we go immediately to eat lunch and just put our carry ons right next to our table. We see everyone around us with their carry ons next to their tables as well.

I haven't left the bags outside either. I guess you can if you want to. I don't have anything huge so I just bring it in.

You were not required to leave the bags outside but there is always a line of bags outside the dining room and we add ours to it. Most recently when we ate at EG on the March 7th Fantasy. I prefer to leave them outside so I am not tripping on them when I get up and down from the buffet.

Next time take a look and you will see what I am talking about. I have seen it on every cruise when we eat embarkation lunch in an MDR.

OK, I read your post as everyone was leaving their bags outside the MDR. Yes, I've seen the pile of bags. We just prefer to keep those things we've opted to carry with us actually with us. As I said, we usually just stow them under the table (we have backpacks as our carryons - so not too large). And there's usually only 2 of us and there's plenty of room at the table.

OP, were you ever on a cruise, with a different cruise line, that let (non-concierge) passengers leave the carry on luggage with Concierge?
Would love to know. It sounds like a Great Perk?

Im not the OP but NCL does this for non concierge and Ive used the service. The last time I was on the Sky, as we walked on we were able to give our carry ons to the crew manning the Library. We were able to leave our stuff there and go back and get it knce rooms were ready. Ive done it twice on NCL. They give you a coat check card for your luggage.

I wonder if DCL has this option but nobody knows about it and just hasnt asked.

Unfortunately not @fairytalelover.
It is reserved solely for those that book concierge.
If it were opened up to those that are in "common" cabins, there would be outrage amongst certain concierge pax that "their" perks were being diminished or taken away.

And we wouldn't want that now would we..... ;)

I sail concierge (Haven) and non concierge on NCL and other lines. Why the heck would you say I would care who can leave a bag? If that would be a person who sails concierge, like I do, only problem, Id be a lucky person. Do you really believe what you wrote?

I took the reply as tongue in cheek hence the wink emoticon. I could never imagine DCL allowing all guests to leave their bags somewhere till rooms are ready. I just feel it would be a huge pain for them to do. I have no problem with Concierge getting that perk though.
