Can we go yet?

This is the question for the last 2 hours. My 8yo DD is dressed up and ready to go to Lion King. She selected a pretty spring dress, got her black dress shoes, curled her hair. I got her a sweater, it has a little Mickey on it so she'll have a Disney touch.

The show starts at 7pm, we are going to leave about 3pm to give ourselves plenty of time to find a place to park and will check out the State Fair while we wait.

Only 2 more hours to go! I think she's a little excited .

My 8yo DD now has a little stuffed version of him.

My dd has a small young Simba she got for her 2nd bday. Simba has had a rough life being slung around these past 7 1/2 years. But he's a happy cat.

I guess your dd got better. I'm glad, and I'm glad she enjoyed the show.

She was okay, I kept hoping people around us didn't worry too much about the coughing. Made sure she used the inhaler before both acts

yay for baby Simba. When I brought Simba home as a kitten, I held him up in the air just like in the Movie. March 23 is when I get to see it....yay!

I'm sure the girls would go again tomorrow if they could. They both decided it was better than the movie.

Too bad Disney doesn't film the shows and sell tapes. I'm sure we would have come home with one.

I would have too! I guess I will settle for a Simba stuffed animal, though.
