We have only had cocktails at the SAA. In Aug., we will be having supper there, and my DD loves tacos. I didn't see them on the supper menu, but I did see tacos on the lunch menu. Anyone ever get a taco at dinner ? Thanx gang !:thumbsup2

For the most part No! San Angel dinners are more authentic than you would find at your local typical Mexican restaurant. You won't find tacos, burritos, enchiladas or chimichangas there. They do have tacos for lunch but they aren't your typical taco. Instead they're more like you'd find in Mexico.

Dinners are much more upscale and thus what most people are used to for a Mexican restaurant aren't found.

However, you can make your own. Ask your server for some corn or flour tortillas and add pieces of your dinner to them. Plato Mexicana will work well for making your own tacos.

San Angel Cantina does have Tacos.

I don't think you can get tacos at dinner. IMO, the Mexico counter service is far superior to the the TS. I guess though, it's all about preference. The cs is like a glorified Taco Bell, the ts is more like a higher class Mexican. I love the cs. :cloud9: I visit it at least once a trip. I don't think I'll ever visit San Angel again. But hey, every one's taste is different.

If you ask the waiter he/she may be able to get her one, if it's on the lunch menu, but no guarantee.

People always say San Angel Inn is authentic, but I don't think it is. They serve Tostitos--nuff said.
