Can we eat lunch at Kona: kids at Wonderland Tea Party

If we drop the kids at Wonderland Tea Party at the GF at 1:00, do we have enough time to go to Kona for lunch and get back to pick them up for 2:30? Is the Polynesian Resort too far away?

I would think you are pushing your time, The monorail would go back to MK from Gf, load and unload passengers, go the the Cont, and then the poly. We ate at the GF pool bar since it was a nice sunny day. The time flew past.

There is a path between the two, it is not that far. Our lunch there last Dec 23rd took about 45 min. We had an ADR and were seated promptly.

You can easily walk from GF to the Poly in 10-15 minutes. You could also return via the Monorail because the stops on the Monorail go Poly, GF, MK, Contemporary, TTC in that order. On the Monorail, it takes less than 5 minutes to go from Poly to GF.

We ate lunch there with 3 kids and were in and out in less than 45 minutes. We ate twice at Kona, once for dinner and once for lunch, and both times, service was quick. I'd think you could do it.

Can you drop kids off as early as 1:00? I was told the party was actually from 1:30 until 2:30 but we should check in 15 mins early. If that is the time frame I don't think you have time. Maybe have lunch at the Grand Floridian Cafe instead?

If you have a full 1.5 hours, I think you can do it easily but if you don't have that full 1.5 hours, it might be safer to dine at the GF Cafe instead. Which is excellent and a hidden gem for lunch, btw.

Aimeedyan - I like your counter better (even though its the same as mine) because its only got a month and 21 days to go. I bet you are getting excited!!!
