Can we eat our breakfasts at whatever restaurant we want, or do we have to follow a rotation for breakfast too??
And if we do....
Will we have options to eat a buffet....
and where would that be available...?
Thanks all!:)

Kathy,

There are a number of choices for breakfast. You can go to a "sit-down" restaurant for a full-service breakfast (my favorite...when I need a morning cola!), you can order room service (nothing like cereal in your pjs), or you can have a buffet breakfast. It's your choice...no rotation to follow. My husband really enjoys the buffet, as it's quick, yummy, and hot! He hates to waste time waiting for the meal.

If you're on a 7-night cruise, I'd recommend trying the Champagne Brunch at Palo (adults only) and the Character Breakfast. Those are on a schedule, but well-worth it, in my opinion (especially the brunch).

Hope this helps!

Generally they have one dining room open for sit down style breakfast every day.
There is always buffet breakfast to be had in BeachBlanketBuffet or Topsiders.

hmmm...from what i remember there is no rotation for breakfast, someone correct me if I'm wrong. There is a sit-down breakfast at Lumiere's in the morning which we went to twice on the cruise. It was nice, but the menu wasn't that large. There is always topsider's buffet, which was my fave. I'd make a breakfast in bed tray for my DH and I. You can also always order room service for breakfast the night before, that was fun. You will have a "reserved" time for the character breakfast at Parrot Cay, your server will give you a reminder ticket for that. I think they leave breakfast and lunch options open for people because on the island days people are getting ready to leave and have excursion reservations and the like. they just wouldn't have a full house. for example on the character breakfast day we were the only family in our server's area. i almost felt like we were wasting their time.

We have been on two Disney cruises, and I remember that Topsiders always had a breakfast buffet. They also pick one of the regular rotation restaurants to open for breakfast. In here you order off the menu. You go in, and you will be seated, but it has nothing to do with your dining rotation. You will be seated in a different place and with different people --- just depends on what time you go and how crowded they are. We always liked eating at the restaurant that was opened for breakfast rather than the buffet. The food seemed better (maybe because we didn't have to get it and carry it ourselves! hahahaha)

Lunch is the same -- you can go to Topsiders or to the pizza / hamburger / chicken strips bar up by the pool, or you can go to the restaurant they decide to open that day for lunch. We found that Triton's seemed to be the restaurant on the Wonder that was opened most often. They do open the other two, but not as frequently.

You'll have a great time!

You are correct that there is no rotation or required time for breakfast or lunch in the sit down restaurants. You just show up during the hours they are open, and are seated wherever they take you. If you want a table for just your family, ask. Otherwise, they put groups together to make it easier on the servers.

I always ask my servers (Liam and Beata) where they were working the next day. That determined where I went!
