Can we do Epcot in one day at Christmas?

We don't need to see and do everything. FP+ either Soarin' or TT, try to do the other in the morning without a FP+ (but we are not rope droppers). Candlelight Processional dining package. Quick tour of the world and Illuminations. It's either 2 Epcot & 2 MK or 1 Epcot and 3 MK (which is my preference, just don't know if we can do Epcot in a day). Thoughts?

Do you know about the Holiday Storytellers? Because that might throw a wrench into your plan to do a quick tour of the world showcase.

I was there at Christmas in 2016, and I would say yes only if you want to rope drop. I noticed that you said you are not rope droppers, so in that case, it depends on which rides you want to ride. It also depends on what you would want to see in World Showcase since they do special things for the holidays. For example, I easily did Soarin, Living with the Land, and Journey Into Imagination within the first hour of opening without FP. I then had FP for Spaceship Earth from about 9:30-10:30, Mission Space from 10:30-11:30, and Test Track from 11:30-12:30 (Times are approximate). I then had the rest of the day to tour World Showcase by seeing performances/theater shows since the rides I listed above are the only ones that I'm really interested in within EPCOT. I used that strategy many times when I was there for Christmas last year. I hope you have a great trip!

You've got the right mindset of not having to see and do everything, so sure, you can do Epcot in one day. But when you get there, you might wish you had extra time. I'd rope drop Soarin and see what the wait at the single rider line is like for TT, but if crowds are high, I'd skip it.

You can do EP in a day. There aren't a ton of attractions, and especially if able to FP FEA, if not, then Soarin FP, single rider TT. World showcase Christmas story tellers and little shows would be the focus but we've done it all in a day many times

I think you will be happy you decided on two days. Just the CP package meal and CP will easily take 3 hours out of your day, if not a little more. The Storytellers are not set up so that you can go from one to the other with ease; you'll be going back and forth if you try to get in as many as you can in one day. With two days, you can be a little more relaxed in your touring and seeing of these very special events. And you also get to ride Soarin' more than once if you want!

Yes. I'm not sure how interested we'll be in this, which is one of the reasons I don't know if we'll need 1 or 2 days. I imagine this could take up a good chunk of the day.

I honestly don't know how people with kids get up so early to RD when they up late at night. We usually don't get to bed until midnight at the earliest so RD is not possible. We are not big on the rides at Epcot. Soarin' and TT are the only ones we must do. We did FEA in March so we don't need to do that again.

Yeah, I don't think it is possible to see and do everything in one day. We're bored of a lot of the rides there so that helps.

I think the decision to take two days is a good one. I would arrive early one day and later on the day you do CP. The meal and the Processional takes time, and I would not want to begrudge that time in order to do something else. FInish that night with Illuminations. It has a Holiday layover that is not to be missed.

It all depends on what your preferences are. If you're leaning towards 3 days at MK and one at Epcot, because you feel that is most appealing for you, then that's what I would do.

The bottom line is that NONE of parks can be fully experienced in only one day, holiday season or otherwise. With only 4 days, choices are going to have to be made. I would encourage you to approach it from a 'What do I want to do perspective' and not from a 'Do I have time to do it all' perspective. You don't have time to do it all and will likely be disappointed if you try.

Strategery.

If we have a late night the night before ,we intentionally schedule a down day activity the next (late character breakfast, water park day, resort day, seasonal party night, etc) so we can sleep in. If we rope drop we always take a midday break to recoup too so we have the potential to be up late . Obviously everybody is different, but that's how we keep our little ones fresh and more importantly the DW and I fresh as well lol.
