I mentioned to hubby that we were going to do the Palo brunch instead of for dinner. He asked why we didn't do both and I explained that I thought that we could only make one Palo reservation and then get put onto a waiting list for another. I definitely want to do brunch! Can we do one of each?

hi, Mrsfuzzmo! we will be traveling with you! 2 more weeks! can't wait!

anyways, i was planning on doing both. i was under the impression that you can do both, but maybe i'm wrong. maybe someone can clarify. i hope we can do both!

You can book one of each. They will waitlist you if you want to repeat them.

On our last cruise there were two separate lines for Palo reservations. One for dinner, one for brunch. I suggest that you and your DH each take a line. Be prepared with several different date/times. This worked out well for us. Have fun!

You can also make a ressie for the High Tea when making the Palo Dinner and/or Brunch ressies as well if that is something you might be interested in doing .... Andy

OK I'm a little afraid to ask but what is appropriate to wear to brunch at Palo? Is it still considered formal? Earlier in the day seems less formal to me but maybe the setting requires formal attire. People who have been at the brunch, what did you wear? Did you notice the floks around you?

Thanks

There is no requirement to wear formal attire at Palo, even at dinner. (Formal means a tuxedo or dark suit for men.)

On the Magic's formal night, formal attire is recommended in the three rotation restaurants and Palo. Again, that's just because it's the formal night, not because Palo is always formal. There is no formal night on the Wonder.

For dinner at Palo, DCL simply recommends that men wear a jacket (such as a blazer, sportcoat, or business suit). No jeans or shorts.

For brunch at Palo, DCL recommends resort casual attire. For men, something like Dockers and a golf shirt are fine. I don't think that jeans or shorts would be appropriate.

Palo is a very nice, adult restaurant. It's dressy -- but it's not formal.

Thanks to all. We are going to play it by ear. I'm going to book brunch first and then check out the other line.

Palo is available on the Wonder for Dinner on the 3 and 4 night cruise, however, I believe brunch is only available on the 4 night and is on the 'at sea' day .... Andy
