can we book our stay in two different ways

I am not sure that title makes sense. This is the situation. For the week of October 14-21 we will be there with my cousin, for the week of October 21-28 it is just me and my family. We would like to get the dining package, but as I understand it, you have to get it for all members for the length of your stay. So I am wondering if I can book the first week with all of us and then book our second with just us?

I'm sure you can. Just book it as two different visits (you'd likely have to checkout & check back in between the two I suspect).

I'm not quite so sure that you can - ask MS when you call to book.

My understanding is that MS considers a consecutive stay in the same resort as though it were one stay, even if you have different confirmation numbers.

If you are booking different size units, I don't think it will be a problem, though.

Anyway, you'll have to ask MS to be sure. Let us know what you find out, please. Thanks.

So the first week October 14-22 is booked with 3 adults, 1 child and 1 infant , all on the dining plan. The second week is booked October 22-28 with 2 adults, 1 child and 1 infant all on the dining plan.

She said they may ask us to switch rooms, but she doubts it as this is more work for them.

My dining plan overlaps on the 22 for 3 of us (2 adults, 1 child) which just means we (the 3 of us) each have an extra days worth of meals we can use within that first week, expiring on October 22 at midnight. Which we didn't mind at all!
