Can we add park hoppers on our trip, if we decide we need them??

Right now, our plans are for a 7 day trip in June and we priced out hoppers from Tickets at Work because they don't have non PH tickets available. However our plans do not include park hopping at this point. We have made our ADRs and have the dining plan, so our plans are semi-firm. I realized last night that I should check UCT for non PH and saw they have them.

So my question is, if we bought non hoppers from UCT, can we add the hopper part at any time during our trip if we decided we wanted to change our plans and hop? Would we only pay the hopper upgrade price? Or would we need to pay the difference between our discounted tickets and Disney's prices along with the hopper upgrade?

Good question. I'm 99% sure you can add the PH; what I can't say for sure is which price point you'll be charged.

I'm going out on a limb and suggesting it'll be the standard PH rate per day.

Your best bet for a 100% answer is call WDW.

Then call again.

Then call one more time, and the answer given by two of the three CM's will have a 90% chance of being right.

HAHA....you are probably right. I was thinking I should call, or ask my TA, but then who knows if it will be the correct info...lol.

I know you can add PH at any point in your trip. I'm fairly certain it will just be the price of parkhoppers that you will be charged and not any difference in ticket prices.

As Alesia stated, you should use the ticket once, which will lock it in to current prices, THEN add the hopper and you'll pay the flat $64 +tax. If you upgrade before ever using, you'll have to pay the difference between your discounted ticket and current pricing PLUS the $64 upgrade fee. Note that the $64 fee is the same regardless of how many days your ticket is for and whether you've used any days up. It is not pro-rated.

Great info! Thanks!
