Can we add Dining Plan to our DVC Rent

We rented points from my Uncle and we were considering adding the dining plan. Is it possible to add this ourselves or do we need to have him call. The reason I ask is that we are not sure so it may be last minute when we decide.

He needs to call to add it and i think it has to be done 48hr before check-in at the latest.

he has to call MS to add it to the ressie but don't leave it to the very very last minute (48 hours before arrival). some "more popular" restaurants do get really busy and some people really mark their 180-day (you can make ADR 180 days before) so they can call and reserve their favorite spots. you will be competing with them. there's tons of restaurants though... i guess as long as you're not dead set on a specific one at a specific time then you'll be fine.

MS will only deal with members, so renters or guests can't call them. Your uncle will need to make the call.

Thank you all for your help. We already made ADR's but we were only planning on having 4ts for an 8 day trip but then we decided we may want a TS for every night so doing the dining plan may be a better value.

Sorry. 1 more question. If my uncle adds it, can we pay for it when we arrive on site or does it need to be paid for when he books it?

He calls to have it added to the reservation, and you pay for it when you check in.

I think the minimum to call and still add the plan is 3-days ahead of check-in, not 48 hours.
