Can we activate our childrens AP's with out them?

My husband and I are going to be at Disney a few day before our children and I was wondering if we could activate all of the AP's when we get there or if the children had to be there when we activated the childrens AP's. They are 10,8, and 6 if that matters.

They have to run them thru and do the finger scan. Why would you want to activate them before the kids get there?

No reason really. We will not be getting back to Our resort from picking them up till late and we have a PS for Donalds Breakfestat 8:30 am the next day. I thought if we could do it for them they wouldn't have to be out so late but it really is not a big deal to get it done that night. I was just wondering is all.

Actually, the only one of the kids needing the finger scan will be the 10-year-old, because s/he will be on an "adult" ticket.

The finger scan is not done when you exchange the vouchers. It is not done until you insert your ticket into the turnstile on your first park entrance.

You will be able to activate the vouchers of your minor children with no problem so long as you have their vouchers.
