I'm thinking of doing the dining plan for the first time. The thing is me and my dd share meals, not to save money but to avoid to much food. I'm thinking with the dining plan we can use one credit for a nice breakfast then also a nice dinner without going to the more expensive plan which includes BR LU and Di. Any feedback on this would be wonderful :cool1: Thanks Tina

Tina, we did this during our December vacation. splitting an appetizer, entree and dessert was just the right amount of food. It worked out great.

You'll have to buy the package for every member of your party staying at Disney. So you'll have two packages, one for you and one for daughter. If you don't use up all the credits, you'll just waste them. At $38 per day per adult, that could be a lot of cash.

I don't think she was planning on wasting the credits. I imagine she will do 2 Counter Service for Breakfast. Share one Table Service meal for lunch. Share 1 Table Service Meal for Dinner. Each have a snack at the fireworks.

So, no waste of credits, but still get to share their table service meals.

I'm new to the DDP and trying to read everything I can, but obviously I've missed something. What do you mean 2CS for breakfast? Can you use 2 of your CS's for breakfast at a sit down restaurant? I'm confused!

No you can't use you CS for a SD breakfast that would be a TS. You can use your CS for breakfast anywhere that has quick serve breakfast options.

you can share all meals at any resturant. i shared meals with my ds 12 in december and we ate at more resturants than if we didnt share. i found that there was more than enough food at most places. we also shared cs meals at pecos bills and tusker house huge meals.. You do however have to buy plans for everyone in your party so if you went for 7 days with 2 people you would get 14 cs meals 14 ts meals and 14 snacks. We went for 8 days and 7 nights with 3 people and hade 21 meals each of cs and ts we usually did not eat breakfast and had ewith a ts meal at lunh or dinner sometimes both because we shared a lunch or dinner and then had left overs. We were never hungry and had 3 left over meals the last day and used for breakfast at 1900 before we lefft. We also had 5 cs meals left and got pre packaged meals for hotel to take to airport. also had 7 snacks left and use dto get mickey rice crispy treaast for the boys friends.
