we're 1st timers going in early Dec. we have a 1day park-to-park tickets right now with hopes of covering both parks in the 1 day. if we are there & realize we are going to need/want a 2nd day...can we upgrade then? or does it need to be done before entry? anyone know?
thanks

Yes...you can upgrade before leaving the park.

That's really good to know. I'm glad I saw this.

I have two 12-year-old girls with me next week, going to Orlando just to see WWOHP, spending 2 nights (Thu/Fri). They are absolutely convinced they will spend all of their time at WWOHP -- they are thinking Friday they'll do HP rides, HP shopping, 3 broomsticks, rides again, HP shopping again -- and then either come back Saturday morning to do it all again, or just hang out at the hotel. They have expressed no interest in anything else.

I'm not so sure... so I can't figure out what kind of park ticket to buy.

But you're saying if we buy one 1-day single-park ticket each, we can "upgrade" to a park hopper or 2-day ticket before we leave the park, with no penalty?

Yes...you would pay whatever the difference in price is.
