Hi asked Virg Hols for quote on renting a Cammaro for 1 week given price of £605 is this right

Could be. Rental prices jump depending on what's going on that week, the car you want, etc. My DH rents for work each week M-F and pays as low as $250 or as much as $600 and it seems there is no rhyme or reason. Try a few more rental companies and see if you can get a better rate with someone else.

If you are wanting a specific car you will pay a high premium but that seems higher than usual. What dates you looking for?
I just got a quote for a random week in Nov 344.43 less 10% Quidco = £310.

We got a camaro for 16 days in October 2010 with Alamo at mco for £402 I upgraded on arrival for that, as others have mentioned if you try to book a specific model ahead of time you pay a lot more, just depends if you are willing to take a chance on the availability of the car!

Have you tried going direct to Alamo?

I haven't used it or looked at prices as i've got a car included in my virgin package. For my boyfriend and I to have flights, a villa, a car, pool heating and fully inclusive car insurance in January, it was about £900 pp xx
