Can things get any worse?

We have had the worst 4 months, but atleast I will say that they are all things and can be replaced. It all started when we were driving down the highway and a cooler lid flew out of the back of a boat and nailed the front end of our Uplander. Luckily we flagged the driver down it ended up being $1000 damage. Then the washer went and the repair man said it wasn't worth fixing. The dryer followed soon after.($1200 for the set) One day I noticed the pool pump wasn't running. So I take it in and that is fried too ($600 for a new one). Then one day DH was on the computer and it went dead. Accorrding to the Geek squad our mother board crashed and burned ($700 for a new computer). Last saturday I go to vacuum after DH's party and the vacuum is smoking. Once again I take it in and not worth fixing ( thank goodness for Kohls 30% off code new one $150). DH just called something flew up and nailed the windshield of the Uplander and it is cracked. When will it ever end? I know I should be greatful because things could be worse. I just want a break, and with what we have spent we could have gone to Disney.

:grouphug: Sorry that you have had such a rough couple of months. You do have the right attitude - they are all things that can be replaced but it has to be frustrating to feel that something is breaking everytime you turn around!

Maybe the bad string of luck is over!

Things always seem to go this way - one thing after the other. Why?

:confused3 :confused3 :confused3

Here's wishing a big change of luck for you. :) :) :)

Sorry so many things seem to be breaking for you lately. There really isn't much rhyme or reason why things go bad in a row. They do seem to go bad when it is the least opportune time though.

Here's to good wishes for your string of bad luck to turn into good luck from today on. :wizard: :wizard: :wizard: :wizard: :wizard:

We had many months of similar happenings just a few months ago, the weird thing is that ours started out almost exactly as yours did. DH was driving down the road and a windshield flew off a semi truck he was passing (the semi was hauling demolished cars) and caused $2000 worth of damage to DH's Pilot. DH was also able to flag down the driver and their insurance covered that one at least.

Hopefully things will calm down to normal again for you really soon. :grouphug:

Do NOT, I repeat do NOT say "what else can happen?"
These words bring a curse of MORE things going wrong!
A reply to a story like yours, we Texans say...
Well bless your heart. :rotfl2:

Cross your fingers that all stays well.
