My question actually has three parts:

1) Is the VEA bus still one of the best/quickest ways to get to DLP from CDG? I've heard that the RER can take up to two hours whereas the bus is only an hour and goes straight the Disney hotels.

2) Can it be booked onsite at the airport?

3) Where is it located at CDG?

Any help would be MUCH appreciated!!! :cheer2:

the VEA has been surpassed now by the TGV train which leaves CDG airport and takes 10 minutes straight to the gates of DLP, and the various shared/private shuttle companies, who will take you from your exit gate to your hotel in around 40 minutes door-to-door.

2) Can it be booked onsite at the airport?

yes, you can pay when you get on the coach if you want to, its now 19 euros per adult one way, and 13 euros per child one way (shared/private shuttles and/or TGV can work out cheaper than this, depending on how many are in your party etc)

3) Where is it located at CDG?

terminal 2E/F

the VEA website will give you more information -

http://www.vea-shuttle.co.uk/

1) I personally prefer a personal shuttle. Depending on your party size it can work out better value. The VEA has never been the quickest way, it's quite probably the slowest and by some distance.

2) Yes. There's a ticket booth at the bus stop and there's also a machine that lets you buy tickets.

3) It's located in 2F. If you're using another terminal you will need to take a bus to get to 2F. These are frequent, well sign posted and free. When you get to 2F just follow the signs for the VEA.

Thank you so much!! Where is the TGV located? Which route do they take?

haven't a clue which route they take, DLP is the first stop out of CDG for the TGV (its the long-distance cross-country trains which come into CDG and then out to DLP in 10 minutes). The train station at CDG is in terminal 2. You just look for your TGV number on the information board inside the station, then go to the indicated platform, wait for your train, and get on it :). You must buy a ticket before you get on the train though.

I'm sorry. I meant which train should my friends take??

Is there a number/final destination city/route for the particular TGV train that they take, or does it just say "Disneyland Paris?" I'm sorry for all the confusion. :sad1:

when you book the TGV tickets, either in advance or at the train station inside CDG airport, you get the TGV train number. Thats the number you look for on the information board in the station. The platform number for that train will be displayed about 10 minutes before it arrives, giving you time to get to the platform and wait for the train.

TGV sounds quick!

How often do trains run and how much is a ticket does anyone know?

*how I am going to wait until march, I don't know*

go on the rail europe website, and pick the same days of the week and time of day you are going to be travelling, but say 8 weeks from now. Your departure station is Paris CDG, your arrival station is Marne la Vallee Chessy. This will give you all the information you need regarding frequency of TGV trains, price etc (it won't change much at all between October and March).

Thanks for that, seems to run at least every hour.
For 2ad & 2 kids approx €52.
(oops can't rem if that is one way or ret!)

Option!
