Can the Search Function when using phones be Improved?

Using the Search function on the desktop works wonderfully! Trying to search using a phone is challenging at best!! I need to click numerous places in and around the 'Search' to get it to pick up my finger touch for the keyboard to come up.

Can this be improved?

I find a quick double-tap in the “Search” or “Member” field brings up my keyboard easily. A single-tap doesn’t do it.

Thank you. That helps for sure. I still need to scroll up as my screen goes to the bottom but at least I have a keyboard and the search open together.

I’ve just been choosing advanced search. I’ll try the double tap!
