I'm going on the 15th and I am planning on buying the 5 day hopper pass some day next week. Is there any chance that the place where I am going to buy the tickets, (Disney Store) will be "sold out" of tickets? Sorry if the question sounds lame, but I'm freaking out here!

Many Disney Stores only stock certain passes, and indeed they can (temporarily) sell-out. You can call ahead and avoid any disappointment.

There are a lot of things to worry about.

THIS is not one of them.

You could always call the store and make sure they have the tickets you need. I called our Disney Store to make sure they had the $200 in disney dollars I needed (before the 2 hr round trip to get them.) They were nice, friendly and quick to confirm that they had them.

I'm not sure I understand, Robo... why would OP want to go to the store if there aren't any tickets to purchase there? :confused3

Phew! Thanks for the quick responces guys!! I just don't want to screw this trip up and I want it to be perfect. I was just parinoid that I would go to the store and they would be like, "Oh sorry, your going during Easter and its so crowded that the tickets are sold out!"

OK I get the feeling that you are more asking if the park could reach capacity as opposed to the Disney Store not having the tickets in stock is that right? :confused3

I think Leash is right...

To the OP: If you are worried about the tickets being sold out, like to a ballgame or a concert, that will not happen.

Easter week will be very busy at the parks, but the only thing that may happen is that the MK will close for a few hours because it has reached capacity. However, if you are in the park already you will be fine as long as you stay in the park!

Oh my! Gosh no. Tickets aren't purchased for specific days!

Ok, I am a little confused. When I go to the Disney store sunday the 2nd to buy my passes for Easter week, will there be a chance that the tickets could be all sold out?

Yes the Disney Store that you go into could be sold out of tickets. However that does not mean that you cannot buy the tickets somewhere else. The tickets are not sold for specific dates, such as easter week, so just because one store does not have the tickets does not mean there are no tickets somewhere else.

Ok, thankyou. Can I call the disney store right now and have them hold the tickets for me so I can come and pick them up?

Good GRIEF!

R-E-L-A-X for a minute.

You'll be able to BUY TICKETS.

They have lots of tickets, lots of places.

You'll never make it through the TRIP if you are this keyed-up over a simple thing like buying tickets.

(Wait til you get to the FastPass distribution... Pandemonium!!)

Is this Adrian Monk?

I don't know if they will hold them that long. I know when I worked at the Disney Store we could only hold something for a day. However I would give it a try the policy may have changed or you may get a nice sales person who will hold them aside. I would definately call to confirm they are in stock before you go if it is a long drive though.

Haha, yes I understand I am very tense about this, and I don't know why. The disney store is only a few minutes away from my house, which is good. :thumbsup2 I don't even know why I am getting all worked up over this! I just want those passes in my hand so I can stop worrying.

Just think, after you HAVE them, you'll need to NOT LOSE THEM!!!

AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!

:rotfl:

Don't worry - Disney will ALWAYS sell you tickets. Even if they ran out at your local Disney Store, you can just buy them when you get to WDW or order them online (via the web site). There is no cap for the total number of tickets that can be sold.

What CAN happen (but it's pretty rare) is that a park closes temporarily to guests not already in the park because it has reached capacity, in which case you won't be able to enter that park for a few hours no matter if you have a ticket or not. But don't worry about that, this usually only happens at the Magic Kingdom on major holidays.

Thankyou, that makes me feel alot better. I will be going on Easter, but I'll make sure we get there early!
