Get adr's that are not available on the system? We want to try O'hana but the only time available is 9:35. Just wondering if the ipo can have some "pull" in that area? If not, I will just check online everyday!

No, they have access to the same system you do. Only difference is sometimes they can help with places that are at their own resorts. Something about how it comes up in the system when they log in. So, I would just keep checking or ask them to check for you. Beach club had said they could add our request to a list they check for each day. We ended up changing plans before it became available so I don't know if they would have had any luck.

The IPO at GF got me a 1900 park faire reservation I couldn't get online.

I've never stayed CL so I've never used IPO, but from reports I've read here on the DISboards, there are times when IPO can get ADRs that aren't available online or over the phone. It happens most often when you are trying to eat at a restaurant at the resort you are staying at. But it isn't a definite "yes, they can." The best you can do is contact IPO and see what they can do.

I was told that only the Club Level Cast Members working in the lounges of their specifc resorts are able to get ADR's at restaurants located where you are staying at because they have more pull then a regular WDW Dining Cast Member you speak to on the phone or what their online system says. For example if you are staying Club Level at the Boardwalk Inn and wanted an ADR at the Flying Fish but are told nothing is available. However when their Club Level Cast Members log onto the ADR system it see's they are doing it from the Boardwalk Inn Innkeeper's Club Level lounge, so they should be able to get an ADR at Flying Fish.

I have a 9:30 p.m. reservation for Ohana. Daughter who is making the plans wanted it that late. We should be able to see the water show at 9:00 p.m. I am wondering if there will still be activities for the kids at Ohana that late?

Tell the IPO you're looking for the ressie and give them your current conf. number. Even though they are technically working on the same system, they are using the resort wide dining program. That program has a few little ways to toy with it to get you a reservation. Believe me, with a little persistence and time you can find any reservation on that system. It's why I always suggest people ask the concierge at their resort before giving up on a ressie.

Keep looking yourself, but absolutely let the IPO know! Two heads are better than one in the world of Disney Dining! :thumbsup2

Thanks everyone! I guess I will email them for the millionth time and ask! Fingers crossed!

1) IPO people have no more pull than you do.
2) However, in some cases, they can "get a favor" at their local hotel.
. . . example: Ohana from a Poly concierge
. . . example: Whispering Canyon from a Wilderness Lodge concierge
3) Other than that, you can do as well as they do.
4) Except, they are on the system more often and can see cancellations sooner.

5) With this being said, SOME resort concierge have OVERRIDE codes.
. . . usually no more than 1-2 per hotel
. . . they can add a ressie into even a sold-out eatery
. . . dinner shows not included, as there are true capacities
. . . when looking at a ressie screen, any number in "red" is oversold
. . . these were put in via override codes, and ONLY via override
. . . there are designated concierge who can override *
. . . the other option is an Executive Reservations person can arrange
. . . regular concierge and IPO people cannot do such overrides

* Overrides are used for "usually" specific instances
. . . friends of company General Managers, VP's or higher
. . . customers designated by the Sales/Marketing Department
. . . guests with VIP status (Level 1,2,3 VIP's)
. . . people for whom a normal concierge wants to do a special favor
