Stupid question but maybe just maybe??
I had bought 2 task chairs there that originally were $30 and were then on sale for $20. I asked them what she could do without the receipt, She did a return - repurchase without a receipt, just the credit card it was purchased on. I'm not sure if she was supposed to do it or not. Did the same a few days later for the UBFunkeys that went on clearance.
But Target doesn't price adjust at all
Even with a receipt
You have to return the higher priced item and then go buy the lower priced item.
No adjustments!

Well perhaps they've changed for the better, I'm basing my "no adjustments" comment on 3 experiences I had with them about 2-3 years ago. Each one of the times I had to actually return the item and then rebuy it, they wouldn't adjust!Unless Target recently changed something, I do price adjustments all the time (it has to be within 14 days of the original purchase). I bring my receipt & credit card to the customer serice counter, tell them what's now on sale, and they credit the difference to my credit card.![]()

Were your items on sale, or did they go on clearance? I believe you have to return & rebuy for clearance items, but if it's just a sale in the new weekly ad, you can get a price adjustment within 14 days.
