Can someone tell me if this is the best deal?

It looks like our family of 6 can save $100 if we buy SW AP's, and get DC discounted. I know we only need one person to buy an AP, but then we wouldn't have tickets for the rest of us for our day at SW and Aquatica. If I order by midnight tonight, I can do the B1G1 tickets at SW/Aquatica. There are 6 of us, so I'd have to purchase 3 @ $180 each. My youngest is only 3, but I didn't see anything that mentioned a child AP price, so I'm assuming she just needs a regular adult ticket.

So, without having an AP, DC would cost us $1514 (that's 4 dolphin swims, and 2 regular tickets). Then, we would get SW and Aquatica free.

With all 6 of us having AP's, the total for that and admission to DC would be $1414.

Before I pull the trigger, I want to make sure I've looked at all options. Do you think this is our best deal? Also, do we get free parking with APs? Thanks much!

p.s. We also still need lodging, so I'm open to any ideas! We'll be there from March 11-17.

I can't help with all your question but your DC ticket gets you 14 days of access to SW and Aquatica. Unless you plan on needing the annual access to SW and Aquatica, and not just the time for this trip, you only need to buy one AP.

When I called DC, they lady said if we get the discounted tickets (with AP), we won't get the 14-day pass to SW and Aquatica. So that's why I was thinking of getting all 6 of us AP's.

Okay, now I'm rethinking this a bit. If I do just buy one AP tonight (so I can get the B1G1), would we then be able to get a discount on our 4 kids tickets, since we're AP holders?

Yes one AP (you would get 2) you get half price off of tickets for the rest of your family. Having an AP does get you free parking which isn't cheap anymore. I think $17/day in regular. We have AP's and have used them a lot.

Thank you! I went ahead last night and pulled the trigger on AP's for all 6 of us. It cost $540 ($580 w/tax) for all 6. I went ahead and did it this way just in case we wanted to spend more than one day at Seaworld or Aquatica. Now I just need to get my DC tickets!
