Can someone tell me about June?

We are thinking about June 17-22 at OKW, how are crowds? Weather? I hated August, is June as bad??? We really want a relaxing vaction, enjoy the resorts, even pool hop Not to BCV of course My Son will be 5 on June 19 so we are thinking of a water park. We would do the parks in the morning and relax at the resort until dinner, then go eat at a park or at a resort. Any advice?

June is certainly warm in Orlando too.

And yes, you will still be dealing with the summer crowds. We've gone at various times in June, July and early August and found the crowds to be very similar.

Use the FP's well and EMH and you won't have any trouble doing all the things you want to do.

I hated August, is June as bad???

If you hated August, I can't say that you'll find June to be much better. Others opinions may vary but we experienced the usual 90+ degrees in June too. I just looked it up and see that the average high temperature in June is 91 degrees and 92 degrees in August. June is marginally less rainy, but I'd count on those afternoon showers.

We are usually at OKW at that time. The weather can be uncomfortable....a tad less so than August. If you hate hot/humid, you won't be escaping it. There was a good amount of rain/overcast skies last year, making swim days a bit of a bummer. Thunderstorms are always a possibility in Orlando in summer. However, we rarely lost a whole day to inclement weather. There were few complete washouts. Relaxing at OKW is a wonderful activity!

I agree with Granny here, and we have gone in June you can count on the 3pm to4pm shower too

What did you hate about August, as stated if it was crowds and heat, June will not improve that.

We love June . But a mid-day break to the resort or waterparks are a must for us.
