Where is it? I think I read that it is at a Disney hotel, but I can remember which one. Is it good? Again, I think I have read great reviews of this restaurant but I can't remeber what people have said about it. Does Beaches & Cream take PS or is it just first come first served (or take out). We will be going to WDW for 8 days in September for the first time (with three kids 9,7,& 3) is this a good kid friendly place? Any information would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks

You are going to find lots of Beaches & Cream fans here. They have great burgers and ice cream. The kitchen sink is great! LOL

Beaches and Cream is located in the Beach Club, along Stormalong Bay. The decor is such of a 1930's or 1940's soda shop. B&C does not take PS - it is first come first served or take out. It usually becomes crowded right after Illuminations until closing. It is very kid friendly. In addition, I have found the service to be among the best at WDW.

One note of caution - it is small. Waits can get very long (45 minutes to an hour).

My suggestion would be to go to allearsnet.com for a menu.

We try to find the time to go to B&C ever since we found it last August. Enjoy!

You will find loads of B&C fans around here...But for the life of me I don't know why. The burgers are mediocre and the place is always way too crowded.

OK...The love fest can begin now.

I don't think I have ever had "real" food here, I think I may have had a grilled cheese a few years back but I really can't remember. Anyway, we get icecream here every trip and love it. Never had a bad scoop!!!:D

We think they have the best burgers at WDW. We haven't missed going to B&C in years.

To avoid the crowd, try to go for an early lunch around 11 or an early supper around 5. The kids can entertain themselves in the arcade next door while you wait. Do yourself a favor and explain to your kids that they can't get in the pool. It is a great pool and I have seen more than one youngster in tears.

We went for the first time last year and plan on going again this year. Bring your appetite because the sundaes are large and the meals are nice sized also.

We have been the last four times that e have gone to WDW. It is about 70% food and 30% great value with vouchers. Burgers are big enough for two peope and the vanilla Coke is excellant.

The only negative is that it is always crowded, and next to an arcade. So we spend money when we are waiting for a table.

Zurg,

Yes, I bought 2 Q & C vouchers with Beaches and Cream in mind. This is all new to me (only went to WDW once whan I was a kid & that was 26 years ago-I think it's changed a bit since then & I don't remember too much). The cost of $11.50 for the Q & C voucher and looking at the menu and prices at allearsnet.com seemed like a really good deal. Any problems using the vouchers here, or any other words of wisdom?

Thanks!

I love this place and so do many many others. That is why it is always so crowded and given the fact that it is small. I would go for an early lunch or an early dinner as another had suggested. We had the burgers and thought they were wonderful. On our last visit, 8 of us shared the kitchen sink. It was alot of fun and also way too much ice cream for us, we did not even make a dent in it. If there is something you do not like in the kitchen sink, they will substitute it for something else. We do not like coffee ice cream and we had extra chocolate instead. It was so good!!

ditto...

I still think the best burger I've had at WDW was at either Sci-Fi or ESPN. Beaches and Cream really didn't do it for me...

Let's face it, burgers and stuff is just a distraction from the ice cream. I'll have a burger but I'm there for the ice cream. :D

We LOVE Beaches and Creams! We eat there every visit. We really enjoy the burgers, they are much juicer than any burger you find at the world. We love the No Way Jose, it's wonderful! Oh, the frozen sunshine is awesome too! My DH even got the receipe and when ever we are having a moment when we need to feel like we're at Disney, we make one! Our DD 10, loves it too! Have lots of fun!::yes::

We love Beaches N'Cream. We ate there last year, we each (2 kids & 2 adults) got a meal & dessert - WE WERE STUFFED!!! When we go back this year, we will probably split meals & desserts. Hmmmm... well maybe we'll split the meal - hands off my dessert!!!!:teeth:

I know you can get a volcano desert at RFC with two VKL-what about 2 Q&C for the kitchen sink?

We tried the Kitchen Sinkonce Couldn't move afterwards.LOL The combination of all the stuff melting together just didn't sit right but it made for some fun pictures. It is fun seeing kids eyes light up when a CM brings one out to a table. Favorite now is the No Way Jose or whatever it is called(Peanut Butter, Fudge Sundae) and Cherry Lime Rickey to wash it down with.
