Can someone tell me a little about Wishes cruises?

I'm thinking about booking one for our stay in March (if I still can) but I need to know a little about them.

How much was it? How many people in your group? Are there special things I should ask for when trying to book one?

Thanks in advance!

We did the Wishes Cruise in August. It was so beautiful. We were picked up at the Contemporary around 9:15 and we rode around the Lagoon for about a 1/2 hour. Our driver was awesome. She showed us all around and told us about all the hotels.

At around 9:50 she put the boat in front of the MK (at the Main Street RR station) and we watched Wishes from there. Music was piped in and it was the best. I highly recommend it.

There were 11 of us in total (6 adults and 5 kids). The kids did have to wear life jackets. We could have brought food with us and drinks or bought them to go with our package. We chose not to do either.

It cost $150 and we tipped $30.

there is a sticky at the top of this board regarding cruises - it is labeled Illuminations cruises but has info on Wishes to. I am thinking about splurging for DH's birthday while we are there in June and getting the pontoon boat with the birthday decorations $275 inlcuding tax I believe and Wishes music will be piped in. Or I believe it is $250 including tax without decorations. This includes Coke products and bagged chips, etc. I was thinking of trying to find another Dis family to share with (this seems to be popular) to split the cost. $137.50 sound more reasonable than $275. Keeping my options open for June. Good luck and make sure to call at exactly 90 days out or you may be out of luck.

My DD and I shared a Wishes Cruise on Dec 19th with another Dis family - it was actually supposed to be two other families, but the woman who originally booked the cruise was ill and had to cancel her whole trip.

We did the $250 w/o decorations or music on the boat - we could hear it from other boats, but if I were to book one I would spend the extra to have the music.

It was quite cold on 12/19, but we did enjoy the tour of the lagoon, and there is no better place to watch the fireworks. We even saw the Electric Parade on the lagoon before we returned to the Grand Floridian! It was a wonderful evening!
