Can someone recommend a hair straightener?

I had a Remington Wet 2 Straight which I thought worked really well until I got my Chi. Well, the Chi just blows that one away and my hair gets almost no damage. I my Chi.

To the OP, I would ask at a salon what would work best for your DD's hair type. There are cheaper options out there that are good, but the worst thing you want to do is get one that will damage her hair.

I agree about my CHI and I also think it would be worth asking a salon what they may recommend for her hair type. A CHI is a worthwhile investment and it does heat p so quickly and you don't have to go over and over the hair to strighten it!

My stylist actually had a new straightener last time I saw her and I hate to admit it but it was actually better than my CHI---all I know is that it automatically "sensed" my hair type and had 'mega hot" on the barrel, I will ask tomorrow when I go
