I am pretty much internet illiterate, but I hope someone can help me with this. We'll be sailing on June 28th, and I just wondered if anything has changed. Thanks!

I just got off the EAstern (5/17 cruise) yesterday and plan on sending Barb and Tony the Navigators....I will try to send them out to them this week and I am sure they will post them as soon as they can.

Thanks MJ - by the way, which night was the formal and which was the semi?

This is the way the nights went.

Sat was casual with regular restaurant menu
Sun was Semi-Formal with regular restaurant menu
Mon was casual with regular restaurant menu
Tue was Tropical night with Tropicali menu
Wed was casual with Around the World menu
Thu was Formal night with Captain's Gala menu
Fri was casual with The Best of menu

Every night dinner was very good.....except The Best of Menu...I thought this was an awful menu. We had a group of 11 and not one person liked what they ordered. It was definately our least favorite menu.

We had the APL rotation which put us in Lumiere's on Formal night and was very nice!!

If I can pick my brain about Friday's menu... there was a filet mignon, red snapper (which I thought was very good), a seafood pasta , and I think my husband had pork. But on another night I chose a curried roast chicken which I didn't care for. To each his/her own taste. There was usually something for everyone.

The artichoke appetizer on Friday was horrible, and the pasta dish had black pasta that tasted like straw. I forget what everyone else had, but no one cared for their meal that night. The other nights were great!!

Yes, my DSIL got the pasta, sampled it, and asked if he could have filet mignon. They brought him the filet with no problem. I thought Friday night (last dinner, we were at Lumiere's, late seating ) was a hectic meal. Some people were anxious to get back and pack to have their things in the hall by 11.

Also people were trying to speak with servers one last time and give them their tips. We got all our servers' and head server's email and snail mail addresses to write and send them pictures we took of them. And there was a parade of all the servers and the flaming baked alaska, flags of all nations. It was nice but slowed down service.

Actually, we were at the same restaurant for breakfast with our same servers, and could have said our goodbyes and tipped at that meal.

Hi Dave! Thanks for the info. It's been a while since you posted, glad you're back.
