Just wondering what to expect...... Have tried two concierge levels at Disney-owned hotels. Dolphin has a great discount, so we're trying it in December. Thanks!

We stayed CL at the Dolphin last summer. It is open in the morning for breakfast and the late afternoon for snacks and a hot h'or d'oeuvre. I never made it to the afternoon offerings. The morning offerings were great - pastries, cereals, fruit, English Muffins, bagels, juices, milk/choc milk, coffee and assorted teas. I loved the early mornings in the Club room - I found it very relaxing and the view out the windows was awesome. We stayed on the Club floor - floor 12.

Just out of curiousity and for future reference, what time in the morning does that breakfast bar at the CL open?

What time does it close at the end of the day, too?

Come to think of it, if you could say more about the hours and when they change finger food fare, I'd appreciate learning more about it.

Thanks.

CL at the Dolphin is open 7:00a-10:00a for breakfest. They don't have afternoon offerings. They open in the evening 5:00p-7:30p offering snacks(crackers, cheese, vegi's dip, cookies, fruit), beverages and one hot hordoeuvre. They offer beverages from 7:30p-9:30p. Hope this helps!

that breakfast time isn't very helpful for early entry days to parks.

Could you grab some pastries, muffins, etc. and take them to the bus stop??

Hi again, swilphil!

What time do folks have to be at the busstop for early entrance in MK and AK, for instance?

I did club level and it's convenient if you want to just stop by and grab a quick continental type breakfast and some coffee or juice. We didn't do the afternoons often because they didn't offer much and the drinks were always warm, but we did always grab some fruit. It was worth the extra money for us because there is six of us, but do I think it would be worth it if there were only 4, probably not.

There are 3 of us. My husband, 5 y.o. daughter and me. I think we'll fare better with a fridge and a stop at a grocery store to pick up the goodies.

KIS ~ That sounds like a good plan. We received CL as a comp upgrade last summer and there were 2 families - 8 of us. It worked b/c it was a comp and there were so many of us it helped keep us on track in the mornings. A great place to gather, meet and have breakfast before going off for the day. Also, it was late August and the crowds were low so we could spend time in the Club Room in the morning knowing that the parks were doable. I did like that very much. But, as I said, we never made it for the evening offerings.

Now, this July, we didn't do CL @ at the Swan (our comp upgrade was to a Jr. Suite) - it was offered for $50 a day. It was just DH and I, so we didn't think it worth it knowing we again wouldn't use it in the evening. One of us went to the Lobby Lounge in the morning and brought back breakfast / coffee to the room. That cost us a lot less than paying the fee for CL access. I'm not sure I would pay for CL. Just my $.02 worth!

:D

Mouseteacher,

You mean to say that the lobby of the Swan and Dolphin have a little something available in the a.m.? Did I understand you correctly? Really? Does that start early on? If they do offer that, what do they offer and what's the timing of it?
