Can someone please help me?

I had been successfully using my free Compuserve website to post clipart until they made some changes last Dec and it stopped working. At that point I finally mamaged to learn to build a DIS stie at least well enough for my clipart, but now that's a problem, too! I'm a real novice at this, so please bear with me. I'm trying to use the CS site again, and I can get the link to show up, but not the picture. When you click the link, the picture appears in a new window.
So, is there something I can do to make the picture appear in my signature?

Try the following code.

That is what I used for the image above, if it is showing up. Sometimes it will show up for a while and then stop.

I used the address from your link but pulled off everything after the 19a.gif.

More and more places are no longer allowing "hotlinking". The symptom of no hotlinking is exactly what you describe, can see it via a clickable link but can't get it to display using the &#91img] tags.

Right now, I'm not sure if it is displaying correctly or if I'm just seeing it displayed from my cache. I'm going to clear cache and see or if other will tell me what you see in the reply above.

Thanks Lisa, may have just been the extra code in the URL then. I'm not sure why a personal web page reference to a .gif file would require an argument to be passed.

Bob and Lisa, Thank You so much for the help. I copied & pasted Bob's link into my profile, and there's Mickey! What I had in the profile before was exactly what I'd copied from properties on the CS site. When I want to change it again, Ill try elliminating all that comes after the .gif in the address & see what happens. If that doesn't work, then I guess I'll have to come back & bug you again. In the meantime, thanks again to both of you for taking the time to help me.

Hmmmm...... :g head:: Mickey was just here a minute ago. I copied the code Bob gave me into my profile, came back to this post, & Mickey was fine. Now all I see is the red X again. Mickey must think he's one of the Easter eggs! He keeps hiding on me!

He's a sneaky little fellow, that Mickey! I submitted that last post, and when the post came up, there he was again. I think I'll just leave him alone for a while & see what happens next.
