I've been reading everything I can get my hands on but can't get my brain around all the planning of the days! Here's the basics of our trip 10/30-11/6, we're staying offsite in SIL's timeshare & will have car. DH, me, kids -10, 4 & 2- & first trip for all of us. I know this is Jersey week so not sure if days are good/bad in any order. Would like to see one other night show, plan to stay late at the party but kids can't do late nights often.

Sunday - 9:30 PS CM, MNSSHP 4pm, will probably wander around resorts or DTD in between w/long rest at hotel

Monday - AK, AK lunch deal, dinner offsite

Tuesday - MGM - Sci-Fi lunch, H&V dinner - Fantasmic pkg maybe??

Wednesday - no parks, DTD, outlets, pool, etc., want to try B&C

Thursday - MK, CRT 8:25, would it be too much to do CP on same day? Are shows similar/different to what we'd see at MNSSHP?

Friday - Sea World

We plan to get the three day return pass at Disney since we really wouldn't use the hopper. Would like to return again so we can visit Epcot next time but don't want to pay to save extra days right now.

Trying to budget but have some highlights & alternate expensive eating days.
Please let me know any suggestions! Thanks!

Steph,

Don't make too many plans! Relax and enjoy your time there. When I first started going down, I made PS and everything. Then I found out I might have PS at MK when we were at Epcot. I only make a few PS now and wing it. We can visit two parks if it is not crowded. Usually MGM and AK are easy to do in a 1/2 day. For the price, Park-Hoppers are much better and you can hop, which makes it good if one park is too crowded. Go to ticketmania.com and check out the prices! Most of all just have fun-I find if it is too rigid, you get stressed out and then all the fun is gone!

It looks like a good schedule - but just be aware that the rides your kids are going to want to do are the most popular rides in all of WDW. It may be hard to get them done with only one day in MK and the MNNSHP.

I recommend skipping Sci-Fi for the 50's Primetime Cafe - the atmosphere is fun and the food is MUCH better.

CRT is obviously princesses while Crystal Palace is Pooh and friends. The characters are different but the premise is the same. You may not want to do them in the same day. I recommend Liberty Tree Tavern for lunch in MK.

Looks like fun. We'll be there the 30th-6th also. Are you doing LTT before MNSSHP? This is the only time the characters dress up in their Halloween costumes. And B&C is GREAT! Have fun!! (and don't forget the stroller! The stroller saved my sil the last trip down at MVMCP. The babies and the 4 year old slept in it )

Hey there. I think the amount of activities you have planned and what you're doing in one day is fine, but I would like to make a suggestion. The days you are going to the parks are the Early Entry days for those parks. Since you are staying off site, you won't be able to partake of EE. This means that by the time you get into the parks, they'll be pretty packed.

For Sunday 10/31 it looks like you're just doing MNSSHP so that should be fine.

For Monday 11/1 you're scheduled to hit AK, and that's AK's EE day. MK is traditionally busy on Mondays so I would suggest hitting MGM this day.

For Tuesday 11/2 you're scheduled to hit MGM, and that's MGM's EE day. I would do MK this day.

For Thurdsday 11/4 you're scheduld to hit MK, and that's MK's EE Day. I would do AK this day.

One other suggestion, as someone else mentioned you can find some good deals on 4 day park hoppers that really might be worth your while. Hopping might come in really handy if the only night they're showing Wishes is the day you're not planning on going to MK and you really want to see it, or if you get to a park and halfway through the day decide it's a little crowded. You could then also hit Epcot. If you did that, I would suggest doing Epcot on Monday and MGM on Wednesday.

Good luck with your planning. I'll be at the MNSSHP on 10/31 and in the parks the rest of the week. Maybe we'll bump into one another!
