Hi all,
I have made a reservation for 9/25 - 10/2 at the Caribbean Beach resort using the free dining code. We reserved a King sized bed. We requested a 2 day park ticket. For some reason the pricing is not adding up for me and I was wondering what I am missing? Could someone check my math and let me know what I am doing wrong?

Rack rate on hotel per Mousesavers:
I did 3 weekend nights @ $184.00 per Night ($552), although I am not sure what nights are considered weekend. We are arriving on a Sat and leaving the following Sat, so the 3 nights that I am considering are Sat, Sun & the following Fri.

4 weekday nights @ $174.00 per night ($696) Mon, Tues, Wed, Thurs.

(2) Two day park passes @ $166.14 each ($332.28)

So, my total would be:
$552 + $696 for lodging ($1248.)
$332. for tickets
for a total of: 1580

Would my total include taxes? What am I missing. My total bill is $1751.00. My e-mailed receipt does not break everything down for me, so I can't tell how I am being charged.

thanks for any help you can give me.

Yes, you have to add in taxes to your total. County tax is different for the hotels in WDW depending on which county CBR is located. Sales tax would be added to the tickets. I'm not sure, but you may need to pay tax on the free dining... not sure how they charge it.

Does the quoted price include trip insurance?

My quote is not broken down, so I don't know. It looks like I will have to call them again. The last time I was on the phone with them it was a 25 minute long distance phone call. I wish they had the 1-800 numbers still. By the way, I would use my cell phone, but it doesn't work in my house.

Who did you book through?

The price on the Disney website comes to $1554 including tax

ETA
They may have automatically included trip insurance

But if you upgrade that to the King size bed, it does come out to the price she is getting - 1751.02. This does not include insurance. That is done on the next page.

Oops I missed the part about it being a King room. In that case $1751 is the correct price.

I don't think you added in the cost of upgrading the room to a King. Per Disney's site, if you book the King room that is an additional 196.86 to the regular room rate.

The king bed will add an upcharge and so will a "view." Some will automatically charge for preferred or water view rather than downgrade you to standard w/out you asking.

Why not just book online?
