Here is thoughts. We r a party of 3. 2 adults.1 child who is 6 if we purchase the deluxe dining and we dont use all our credits can we use them on the party traveling with us? For example our last morning we r doing cape may brkfast if they r out of credits can we use ours to pay. Also how do they keep track of adult vs child on deluxe? Can u use your credit for a quick service too? Thanks so much!

No the DDP is non transferable so you cannot use them for another party. No clue how the DDXP seperates the meals though, I would imagine it is kept like they are all table service meals and seperates the adults from the kids but that is just a guess based on how they use the credits for table service meals.

As far as sharing credits, lets say you are all sitting together and try to use 10 credits your server will see right on the card that you only have 4 people on the plan so they can't use them.

Forgot one of your questions, you can use your credits for quick service. You can use your three daily credits for any combination of TS or QS that you choose.

Credits are non-transferable so you can't share with the other family that you are traveling with. The credits are just divided into adult and children. They can be used for TS or CS but you don't get an appetizer at CS locations. I believe that it's been posted before that you need to use 2/3 of your credits on TS meals to get your monies worth from the plan. I would also think that you would need to use all of your credits to get your monies worth as well.

Last year, we had the DxDDP, and ended up with 2 extra child meal credits because we went to Jiko (2 TS credits) one night while the kids went to the Mara (1 credit) with grandma and grandpa. On our last day, we had lunch at The Plaza, and explained to our server that we'd be paying cash for the adults and using our last 2 child credits for the kids. Well, she said that on the deluxe plan, the system doesn't differentiate between kids' credits and adult credits, and she was able to use our 2 remaining credits for the adults' meals and we paid for the kids.

But, as others have said, we could only use them for our party - not transfer them to another party.

When we were there in February of this year, it broke them down into adult and children on the receipts and on the print out that the concierge printed for us.

I guess that was a glitch that they fixed since we visited last August. As I said, we were prepared to pay for the adult meals, and it was our server who suggested running it the other way.

Sorry, I wasn't trying to be rude with my response. I think it must have been a glitch or something (maybe even a server spreading some pixie dust) because that was pretty much the only way they had it broken down in February....adult, children and snacks.

Yup, 2/3 spend at TS locations is roughly the break-even point. Slightly higher if most of your TS are Signatures, slightly lower if most of your TS are 1 credit locations.

For the OP, others have answered your questions already and the credits are DxDDP are not "TS" credits, but rather general meal credits able to be used anywhere that takes either type of meal credits.
