Can someone help me please? Dairy allergy!

Hello everyone

Does anyone have any experience of taking a toddler with a dairy intolerance to Disney?

I posted on the TPA board and was directed here, I've been told soya milk is sold at the hotel (POR) but what about in the parks? Can you request specific dietary requirements in each restaurant? Is soya butter or soya yoghurt available?

If not do you know where, off and on site, we can buy? Any tips for us?

I know for sure the POR has the silk soy milk.

My dd drinks soy as well so I do a grocery stop on the way to the resort. For us it makes sense to take a few minutes out of the way to be sure we have what we need for the trip. If your not renting a car I would consider using a towncar as most offer a complimentary 30 minute grocery stop. I make sure to request a major chain and have always found everything I need including soy cheeses, yogurt and of course milk. If you are taking ME then perhaps you can ship a box to the resort with some of the non-perishable soy "juice boxes".

Your best bet is to contact Brenda Bennett and discuss it with her - she can provide lots of information for you. Her email is Brenda.Bennett@disney.com.

You can also call the restaurants where you have ADRs several days prior and they will make proper arrangements for your needs.

I would ship down a box of non-perishable soy milk.

I do recall them saying they'd have some at the Poly if I needed it but since my son refuses soy milk too, that wasn't a problem.

Do you belong to the Yahoo group?
