Good Morning. I just got off the phone with my friends on their way to Epcot. Is the character bus back or is there still a meet and great somewhere? Any info shared would be much appreciated.

as far as i know there is no bus they have a meet and great over by innoventions. its a bldg, can't remember what it used to be. Not sure if this is permanent or not, but looks like a nice setting. saw lots of photos from there.

The bus is not being used anymore because of the behavior of people not allowing the characters to leave, instead they have set up Chracter Connections. According to our guide on the Undiscovered Future World, people had begun throwing themselves in front of the bus in order to try and get pictures with the characters and other such things and it was causing a few security incidents and so this way of greeting characters was started.

They are at Character Connection - Innoventions West Side - next to Fountain View Bakery. There is a sign in front of the entrance that will tell you the hours. It is a great spot -we saw Mickey, Minnie, Pluto, Donald, Chip&Dale and Geppeto at one visit in January!

I heard the same thing. the character connections replaced the bus. we never could find or catch the bus so I am glad they did this.
