Can someone give me the cliff notes for liquids in your carry on?

I am leaving in less that 2 days and I'm clueless. The web site makes me nuts.

I have quart size bags.What is the ozs limit of each container and limit of ozs of the whole quart size bag? Do juice boxes count for kids if I just add them in the quart bag?


P.S. Does that count for the bras with a little help in them when you are wearing them? I already know of the underwire (All I have after having kids) warning so check in in may be interesting.

The liquids, gels, creams, that go in the quart ziploc must be under 3 oz. I can't help you with the juice box issue, since it has been a looong time since those were on my packing list. Do they even come in packages of 3 ozs? If not, you may have to leave the juice boxes at home.

You can put as many things in that quart bag as will fit. Here is what is typically in my quart bag:

Chapstick
Hand Cream
Antibacterial Gel
Tide to Go Pen

But I also check a bag when I travel, so the majority of my liquids go in there (packed in two ziploc bags).

As for the bra, I wouldn't worry about it. They may (or may not) pull you for a gentle frisking. A friend I traveled with in October forgot to take her sweatshirt off when we departed from PHL. She got frisked because of the sweatshirt. No biggie, but the TSA at your airport may operate on a whole different system.

If juice boxes are 3ounces or less, they can go in the quart bag. Remember, you get ONE quart bag for each person who has a ticket.

Gel bras don't count.

You can stuff as many 3 ounces or less containers in your 1 quart bag as you can.

Can you tell I am stressed and not ready. I so need a vacation and got to finish packing so I can relax and enjoy our trip. I have been planning it for almost 3 years you would think I would be packed by now.
